About Me
It may be more than you ever wanted to know!

I'm old enough to know better, but still young enough to have lots of fun!
I really shouldn't have children as old as mine are because I was a child bride!

We have four beautiful grandchildren who are the lights of our our lives, but you need to know that, in addition to my starting out young, so did our kids!

I grew up in a small town in Misssissippi...so small that we didn't even have a traffic light.  I graduated with honors in a class of 27--18 boys and 9 girls.

I then attended junior college, earning an Associate's degree in Accounting.  I met my husband on a blind date in November of 1969, and we were married seven months later.  That rascal just swept me off my feet!

This is where I spend most of my time.

At WORK!!!

What a job!

I've done a variety of things over the years.  Mostly, I was a SAHM from 1974 until 1984.

I've always done the bookkeeping for our family electrical and plumbing contracting business, but five years ago, we built a new warehouse and decided to add a plumbing and electrical supply store to it.

My daughter and I run the store, and to tell the truth, I'd rather spend my time doing more creative things.  Thanks to my daughter's help, I am slowly starting to have more time to do creative things.
